FLEx Lighting Completes $9M Expansion Round

Chicago - December 9, 2020 - FLEx Lighting (FLEx), which supplies the world’s thinnest front light technology, today announced that it has raised $9M in funding led by venture capital firm Anzu Partners. This round of financing will fuel FLEx’s growth and the commercialization of its new, tablet-sized reflective displays. LAB-137 acted as placement agent for the financing.

FLEx’s ultra-thin light transmission technology extends battery life by several orders of magnitude while offering best in class reflective color with video rate capability. It also provides superb readability in bright sunlight conditions without glare, all of which remain challenges for traditional LCD display technology and high-end emissive technology like OLED.
